A pundit recently remarked that he’s never witnessed a player appear as “frightened” as a £30 million star from Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side endured a thoroughly dismal outing at the Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal cruised to a 5-0 victory, extending their lead at the summit of the Premier League table.

Despite the emphatic final scoreline, the first half presented a more balanced contest, with Arsenal holding a narrow 1-0 lead and Chelsea posing some difficulties for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Blues gradually found their rhythm after Leandro Trossard’s early goal for Arsenal. However, whenever they had opportunities to test David Raya, Chelsea frequently faltered, failing to capitalize on their chances.

A pivotal moment arose when Nicolas Jackson appeared poised for a close-range header within the six-yard box. However, Raya comfortably made the save, revealing that Jackson had used his hand instead of his head to direct the ball towards the goal.

Criticism mounted against Jackson following Chelsea’s defeat at Arsenal. Notably, he was fortunate to escape a red card for an early challenge on Takehiro Tomiyasu. Craig Burley, speaking on ESPN and assigning Jackson a dismal 1/10 rating, expressed bewilderment at his performance.
