ARSENAL
Arsenal supporters are expressing outrage over the actions of Fulham players during their training sessions leading up to the upcoming showdown with Manchester City.
Despite their dominant form in domestic competitions since the start of the year, Arsenal finds themselves in a position where their Premier League title aspirations are not entirely within their control.
Despite winning 15 out of their last 17 matches in 2024, Arsenal’s hopes for the title rest on Manchester City dropping points in their final three games.
Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola’s guidance, kick off the last week of their campaign at Craven Cottage on Saturday, where they are heavily favored to secure their seventh consecutive league victory.
For Arsenal to have a chance at overtaking the reigning champions, they not only need to win their own matches against Manchester United and Everton but also rely on Fulham, Tottenham, or West Ham to take points off Manchester City.
However, hopes of Fulham causing an upset were dampened by footage from their training ground showing Brazilian trio Rodrigo Muniz, Andreas Pereira, and former Arsenal player Willian leisurely flying kites on a sunny afternoon.
Fulham has previously played a role in thwarting Arsenal’s title hopes, securing a draw and a victory against them earlier in the season. However, many Arsenal fans are not optimistic about Fulham replicating that success against Manchester City.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka remains positive, viewing the situation as a challenging yet beautiful opportunity for the team to prove themselves. Saka emphasizes the competition with Manchester City as a chance for Arsenal to elevate their performance and challenge the standards set by the reigning champions.
